We are pleased to announce our newest online resource to drive policy change to improve the health of those living with celiac disease and accelerate research for better diagnostics, treatments, and a cure: iAdvocate.

In iAdvocate at celiac.org, you will find the training, tools, and support you need to begin effectively advocating to Members of Congress in your home state, urging them to treat celiac disease as a national priority.

Our National Celiac Disease Patient Advocacy Summit in Washington, DC, last spring demonstrated incredible levels of support from our community. Our success in Washington, DC, over the past 15 months is a direct reflection of the passion and strength of celiac disease patients, caregivers, and advocates. When you speak up for the celiac disease community, Members of Congress listen. Now, we need our community’s collective, powerful voice to support our shared agenda of achieving increased funding for celiac disease research, labeling of gluten in medicines, and other important initiatives.

iAdvocate includes the State Advocacy Ambassador Training Program, video-based lessons that will prepare you with the knowledge and tools to make a difference for celiac disease patients; the iAdvocate Forum, a collaborative space where advocates can plan group meet-ups and share advocacy tips; and other important advocacy resources, such as the Advocacy Toolkit, Social Media Toolkit, and Advocacy Action Calendar.

Take a moment to visit iAdvocate today and find opportunities to support celiac disease advocacy that work with your schedule.

We look forward to having you join our nationwide team of advocates!

Wishing you good health and safety,

Marilyn G. Geller, Chief Executive
