Crockpot Meatloaf

  • 2 lbs beef, bison, or turkey (ground)
  • 1 onion (medium, finely diced)
  • 3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (gluten-free)
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 eggs (lightly beaten)
  • 3/4 cup breadcrumbs (dry, gluten-free)
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp mustard (ground)
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce (gluten-free)
  1. Mix all ingredients well in large bowl.
  2. Shape into rectangle or oval that won’t touch the sides of the crockpot.
  3. Place into crockpot; cover and cook low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  4. Whisk ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl.
  5. Spoon sauce over meatloaf and warm in crockpot for last 15 minutes.
  6. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
  7. Serve with asparagus or broccoli sautéed in olive oil with a dash of garlic salt.
