In fulfilling our mission to increase the diagnosis rate of celiac disease, Celiac Disease Foundation (CDF) is proud to announce the launch of the Clinical Forum, an addition to the NASPGHAN Clinical Guidelines for Pediatric Celiac Disease developed last month. Celiac disease affects 1% of the population worldwide, including three million Americans, but only approximately 20% (500,000) are properly diagnosed. This means there are 2.5 million Americans suffering from celiac disease who don’t know it.

The Forum provides an exclusive space for licensed healthcare practitioners to ask questions about the Guide, to talk about celiac disease and non-celiac gluten/wheat sensitivity, and to share real world experiences, practices, and insights. Through conversing with other practitioners in the field across the country and around the world, the Forum provides a platform to educate practitioners about celiac disease through crowdsourcing. Furthermore, the Forum offers a space where practitioners can be anonymous (or not) and talk openly about the diagnosis and treatment of celiac disease.

By providing the best available evidence and insights to healthcare practitioners, Celiac Disease Foundation is driving diagnosis of celiac disease.
