Last week, Celiac Disease Foundation Patient Advocates met with the staff of their Members of Congress to advocate for expanded NIH funding for celiac disease research in FY2023, and including celiac disease in the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs.  

The Celiac Disease Foundation is pleased to partner with the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation on the Open Restrooms Movement. Like inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease can cause an urgent and unexpected need for a restroom.

On August 24, Rep. Betty McCollum launched the bipartisan Celiac Disease Caucus. We look forward to continuing to work with Rep. McCollum and the Caucus to support innovative research and advance legislation that will ease the suffering of celiac patients.
