Last week, the Celiac Disease Foundation, as part of The Defense Health Research Consortium, co-signed a letter requesting a budget increase for the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs.

The FDA released the long-awaited draft guidance, “Celiac Disease: Developing Drugs for Adjunctive Treatment to a Gluten-Free Diet."

According to a recent analysis, children who have a first-degree relative with celiac disease may be at higher risk of developing the disease before age 10 than previously thought.
