The Celiac Disease Foundation is proud to continue our partnership with the Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University in presenting an annual livestream international symposium, this year titled “Celiac Disease: On the Horizon”. Please join on Saturday, April 29 and Sunday, April 30 for a scientific program that will bring together physicians, dietitians and nutritionists, scientists, industry, federal agency representatives, patients, caregivers and advocates to learn about the latest developments in celiac disease diagnosis, management, and future treatments.
Learn about the Celiac Disease Foundation’s role in securing federal funding for celiac disease research on April 29 at 3:30 p.m. ET, in the Funding Opportunities in Celiac Disease Research and Management session, as CEO Marilyn Geller shares information about new and existing research grant awards offered by the Foundation and provide an update on funding through the National Institutes of Health that will advance patient well-being. Also participating in this session will be Dr. Annette Rothermel from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), who will provide key agency updates on celiac disease, and Dr. Kathryn Argue, of the Peer-Reviewed Medical Research Program (PRMRP) at the Department of Defense Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs at the (DOD-CDMRP), who will provide a program overview about this new opportunity for celiac disease research funding.
