Celiac disease can be challenging for a variety of reasons. Maybe one day it won’t have to be. If you’re on a gluten-free diet and still searching for better options for your celiac disease, consider participating in a clinical research study.

The ILLUMINATE Studies are phase 2 clinical research studies evaluating an investigational medication designed to reduce or eliminate the negative immune response to gluten in adults with celiac disease.

You may qualify for the ILLUMINATE Studies if you:

  • Are between 18 and 75 years old
  • Have biopsy-confirmed celiac disease that is generally well-controlled
  • Have been on a gluten-free diet for at least 6 months

If you are interested in participating, the study doctor or staff will review additional study criteria with you.

You will need to consume small amounts of gluten during these studies. More information on this requirement will be available for those who prequalify.
