We asked Mary Vargas, disability discrimination lawyer, "Does the American`s with Disabilities Act require employers to accommodate employees with celiac disease in the workplace?" The answer is yes, it does. In the workplace, a request for accommodations usually requires disclosure of a disability accompanied by documentation. Next, there is a conversation between employee and employer about the accommodations needed to be successful in the workplace.â
