We know traveling safely is a priority for our celiac disease community. To promote gluten-free vacation options, the Celiac Disease Foundation is pleased to continue our long-standing partnership with Celiac Cruise! We work together toward our shared mission to improve the quality of life for those affected by celiac disease and gluten sensitivity, and to strengthen community relationships through gluten-free excursions.

Celiac Cruise was started in 2018 with a dream of providing families impacted by celiac disease with the opportunity to sail the open seas in a safe, gluten-free environment. The company’s goal is to offer an incredible gluten-free cruise vacation experience and an educational, cohesive community for guests.

Here are three exciting opportunities to sail with Celiac Cruise in 2024:

  • Caribbean, February 18-25, 2024: Celiac Cruise Caribbean will be sailing roundtrip from Miami, Florida on an 8-day, 7-night sailing to the Western Caribbean to visit Nassau, Bahamas; Falmouth, Jamaica – gateway to Ocho Rios and Montego Bay; and both of Royal Caribbean’s private destinations – Perfect Day at CocoCay and Labadee. Guests will have the opportunity to meet with a representative from the Celiac Disease Foundation and many other well-known leaders in the celiac community. Plus, there will be a fundraising walk onboard so cruisers can participate to benefit the Foundation and celiac disease research.
  • Danube River, October 12-19, 2024: Celiac Cruise will be returning to Europe to sail along the beautiful Danube River once again during the fall of 2024, sailing from Vilshofen, Germany to Budapest, Hungary to visit Germany, Austria, Slovakia, and Hungary! This exclusive, intimate river sailing is 100% gluten-free and includes all food, most alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and excursions in each port of call.
  • Holiday Market, December 9-16, 2024: Celiac Cruise will be returning to Europe during the enchanting holiday market season of 2024, sailing from Basel to Amsterdam along the Rhine River while visiting Switzerland, France, Germany, and the Netherlands! This 8-day/7-night 100% gluten-free adventure will allow cruisers to experience the deep-rooted traditions of Europe at its most festive time of year and the magic of the holidays with visits to some of the world’s most timeless holiday markets. Plus, our CEO Marilyn Geller will be in attendance representing the Foundation.
