We are thrilled to be selected again this year as an Official Charity Partner in the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon! On November 3, Team Gluten-Free runners from across the country will unite in New York to run 26.2 miles with the common goal of accelerating diagnosis, treatments, and a cure for the 3 million Americans affected by celiac disease.

We are so grateful to each of our runners for their inspiring efforts! We extend our sincere thanks for their participation and invite you to learn more about each person and what drives them to support our collective mission.

Dan Kubiak

In 2019, Dan’s 2-year-old son was diagnosed with celiac disease. The initial relief of seeing symptoms disappear on a gluten-free diet was tempered by fears about how thediagnosis might limit his son’s opportunities. A former top-level ski racer, Dan had pushed his body to its limits and traveled the world through skiing. Faced with the prospect of limitations for his son, Dan’s perspective shifted dramatically over the past five years. Through the support of organizations like the Celiac Disease Foundation, his family has learned to navigate life with celiac disease more effectively. Dan is now channeling his experiences into advocacy and fundraising efforts, aiming to show his son the power of hard work and determination by running the NYC Marathon. Help Dan reach his goal!

Olivia was inspired by her sister Claire, a previous Team Gluten-Free marathon member, and is thrilled run the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon.
