Last week the Massachusetts Joint Committee for Public Health held a hearing on the CAPE Act, a bill establishing a pilot program to evaluate routine screening for celiac disease in children.
Expert panelists shared personal stories and perspectives about the urgency of this bill—celiac disease screening helps people get diagnosed earlier, and can change the lives of many suffering with unexplained symptoms.
