What does fundraising involve?

Fundraising for the Turkey Trot is strongly encouraged and plays a key role in shaping the future of celiac disease research. The funds you raise directly accelerate research for treatments and a cure.

Upon registration, you will receive a fundraising page that can be personalized with your photo, celiac disease story, your fundraising goal, and details about why raising funds and promoting awareness is important to you. We will also provide you with helpful tips and tricks for successful fundraising. Be sure to share your page with friends and family via email and social media, using the hashtag #iMove4Celiac in your posts.

The top fundraisers will win big prizes! Winners must sign a waiver allowing the Celiac Disease Foundation to provide their mailing address to sponsors for prize delivery.

Do I need to join or make a virtual team?

Being a part of a virtual team is encouraged but not required. Creating a team provides support for families and groups of fundraisers. With multiple team members raising funds and educating their networks, the message is amplified to new people and supporters.
