Celiac Disease Foundation Global Patient Education Grant Award
The Celiac Disease Foundation is committed to fostering global unity and advancing celiac disease awareness, education, and advocacy worldwide. In recognition of the vital role that patient organizations play in supporting individuals living with celiac disease, we are proud to establish the Global Celiac Disease Patient Education Grant Award.
This award of up to $2,500 USD is designed to support celiac disease patient societies outside of the United States in their efforts to develop and expand patient education programs that improve disease awareness, diagnosis, and management.
Applicant Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be a nonprofit or registered patient society based outside the United States.
- Demonstrate an ongoing commitment to celiac disease patient education and advocacy.
- Propose a new or existing educational program that directly benefits individuals with celiac disease.
Application Criteria

Applicants will be evaluated based on:
- Program Impact: How the initiative enhances patient education and awareness.
- Community Reach: Number of individuals who will benefit from the program.
- Innovation & Sustainability: The program’s potential for long-term success and adaptability.
- Collaboration & Global Unity: Efforts to foster international collaboration and shared learning within the celiac disease community.
Award Details
- Amount: Up to $2,500 USD.
- Use of Funds: Award funds must be applied toward the development, expansion, or promotion of an education initiative for celiac disease patients.
- Recognition: The recipient will be announced on the Celiac Disease Foundation’s website and social media platforms, showcasing their contribution to global celiac disease education.
