The certification lasts for a full year with an annual re-certification fee based upon turnover and exports of the certified gluten-free products.

How to Get Certified

The Crossed Grain Trademark certification process is designed with your business in mind. Our streamlined process ensures minimal disruption to your operations while delivering maximum value.

  • Application: Contact us at [email protected] to request our application form.
  • Documentation: Provide necessary documents, including ingredient lists and manufacturing processes, to the Celiac Disease Foundation.
  • Audit*: Undergo an audit to the AOECS Standard for Gluten-Free Foods completed by a third party auditor.
  • Approval: Submit audit and gluten analysis certificates to the Celiac Disease Foundation for contract signing and Crossed Grain Trademark license issue.
  • Packaging Verification: Product packaging verified and approved by the Celiac Disease Foundation.
  • Annual Renewal: Undergo annual audit to AOECS Standard for Gluten-Free Foods by a third party auditor and submit certificates to the Celiac Disease Foundation.
