We are pleased to announce that Celiac Disease Foundation CEO, Marilyn G. Geller, received the Center for Nonprofit Management Inspiring Leaders Award on June 14th, for her innovative approach in accelerating diagnosis, treatments, and a cure for celiac disease and non-celiac gluten/wheat sensitivity.
Marilyn was particularly selected for this award because of the progress made with the Celiac Disease Foundation’s patient registry, iCureCeliac®, the first and largest public celiac disease patient registry. iCureCeliac® is a key catalyst in changing the economics of the drug development pipeline for celiac disease and non-celiac gluten/wheat sensitivity.
As a mother of a child with celiac disease and a long-time healthcare executive, Marilyn is deeply in tune with the needs of the celiac disease community, and is honored to have the Celiac Disease Foundation recognized for addressing the real suffering and hardship caused by celiac disease and non-celiac gluten/wheat sensitivity.
