Thank you for your support of the Resnick Family’s Celiac Disease and Gluten-Related Conditions Psychological Health Training Program.
Living with a chronic illness like celiac disease is difficult. For the more than one million youth affected, It can cause severe stress on families and other key relationships. It can contribute to a sense of social alienation, feelings of worthlessness, low self-esteem, anxiety and depression.
Founded by the Resnick Family, long-time CDF supporters, and in partnership with Children’s National Medical Center, the Celiac Disease and Gluten-Related Conditions Psychological Health Traning Program provides a toolkit for medical and mental health practitioners to identify and treat patients living with celiac disease and non-celiac wheat sensitivity. Included in the program is an interactive manual with videos to increase practitioner awareness in pediatric populations.
