With toppings as simple as marinara sauce, vegan cheese, and some colorful crunchy peppers, it’ll be hard to believe you’re eating pizza that’s gluten free, vegan, and loaded with vitamin C. Prepare to amaze your dinner guests, but please, no paparazzi.

Veganning a Pizza Trend

  • 1 cup CAULIPOWER Cauliflower-Based Baking Mix (original)
  • 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp room temperature water
  • 3/4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 cup red pizza sauce (vegan)
  • 1 cup shredded vegan cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced bell peppers
  • 1 pinch chili flakes
  • 2 tbsp Minced Garlic


  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Combine Baking Mix, water, olive oil and baking powder in mixing bowl, stirring until a stiff dough forms. Let rest 15 minutes.
  3. Dip hands into additional baking mix and spread dough into a 10-inch diameter circle on parchment paper-lined baking sheet OR oil an 8-inch by 12-inch rimmed baking pan and press dough to the edges.
  4. Bake 14-16 minutes, and then remove from oven.
  5. Spread vegan pizza sauce evenly over your crust, leaving ¼ inch around the edges.
  6. Top crust with vegan cheese and sliced bell peppers.
  7. Return your crust to the oven and bake an additional 5 to 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and toppings are hot.
  8. Remove from oven and let rest on pan on wire rack for 5 minutes. Sprinkle with minced garlic to taste.
