unnamed-150x150CDF has innovative programs to reach out to the public and to the medical community to raise awareness and increase the diagnosis of celiac disease. We know how to stop the suffering. Education is the key. This is why Celiac Disease Foundation is proud to join with Dr. Amy Burkhart and Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, California to host Grand Rounds on Friday, October 9th, 2015. Dr. Burkhart will educate medical staff and residents on the diagnosis and treatment of celiac disease. Dr. Burkhart’s presentation will focus on the difference between celiac disease and gluten sensitivity.

CDF also conducts Grand Rounds at Cedars-Sinai, UCLA, and USC Medical Centers. Our highly successful Grand Rounds program brings celiac disease experts into hospitals to meet with physicians and residents, to provide key updates on research, and to discuss topics of special interest within the celiac disease and gluten sensitive community. Grand Rounds is one of the most effective ways to disseminate information about celiac disease. Through our advocacy efforts, research promotion, and community support tools, CDF works tirelessly to educate the public, the medical and research communities, and the food and restaurant industries. We are pleased to be able to offer another avenue through which we can provide education to the medical community.
