Digestive Disease Week® (DDW) is the largest international gathering of physicians, researchers, and academics in the fields of gastroenterology, hepatology, endoscopy, and gastrointestinal surgery. Held on May 16-19 in Washington D.C., the meeting showcased new breakthroughs in celiac disease and gluten sensitivity research. Celiac Disease Foundation (CDF) Chief Executive Officer, Marilyn G. Geller, attended to support the many educational sessions led by members of CDF’s Medical Advisory Board.

CDF also participated in the Digestive Disease Week Twitter Chat, along with several researchers, patients, and other celiac disease organizations, discussing celiac disease and the gluten-free diet. You can find the Twitter highlights here.
