Gift of Hope – Dr. Randy Morris on Celiac Disease and Infertility

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Recently, Celiac Disease Foundation published results from the iCureCeliac® national patient registry. 12% of the women in the registry reported infertility before their diagnosis, but only 3% still had fertility problems after diagnosis. Furthermore, 19% reported having miscarriages before diagnosis, but only 2% had miscarriages after diagnosis.

Dr. Randy Morris
discusses a link between celiac disease and infertility and miscarriage.

The initial iCureCeliac® findings have already yielded important information, and we will continue to learn more about celiac disease and non-celiac wheat sensitivity as iCureCeliac® expands. In order to grow the patient registry, we need your help. Please make a generous, tax-deductible contribution to the 2016 Gift of Hope Challenge.

If you give now, CDF’s Board of Directors will match your gift dollar-for-dollar, doubling its impact. Together, we can solve celiac disease. Make your Gift of Hope today.
