IMPORTANT
This information is for those who have been diagnosed with celiac disease or gluten intolerance and need to begin following the gluten-free diet.
This section will provide you with lots of information about what you can eat and what you can’t, the daily diet, menu planning, shopping, what to keep on hand in your pantry, knowing what to look for on labels, recipes, eating at social events and holidays as well as dining out.
PLEASE NOTE:
CDF strongly recommends that you get correctly diagnosed with Celiac Disease by a qualified physician before modifying your diet! Do not self diagnose. Talk to your healthcare provider about Celiac blood tests that are available for preliminary diagnosis. In order to get accurate test results, it is important that you are following a daily diet that contains gluten.

PLEASE NOTE!
The Gluten-Free Diet is a life-long commitment and should not be started before being properly diagnosed with CD/DH. Starting the diet without complete testing is not recommended and makes diagnosis difficult.
